Winemakers' Hiking Week - to the grape harvest in Tramin - South Tyrol

Experience the natural beauty of the Mediterranean vineyards around Lake Kaltern. The play of colours of the leaves on the vines and in the nearby mixed forest and this paired with a stop at a vineyard or inn. The warm sun invigorates and warms body and soul, accompanied by a glass of Traminer wine and a few South Tyrolean specialities. Recharge your batteries together during a hiking week. Make new friends, sociable - spicy - good like our Gewürztraminer....

Programme:

Sunday 8 October "Welcome".

After arrival we start the evening with a reception of the hiking friends with a snack, welcome drink and presentation of the programme.

Monday 9 October off to the Dolomites World Heritage Site: Lake Carezza - Layrinthsteig

Tuesday 10 October Sarntal - Durnholz - Reinswald

Wednesday 11 October Autumn hike in and around Tramin

Thursday 12 October Excursion to Kortsch-Latsch Journey to the Vinschgau Valley

Friday 13 October Wine tour in Tramin

Saturday 14 October Departure
